Dakshinavarti Shankh Sadhana | Amazing Conch Shell:
In the Kingdom of the famous ruler Bhoja, there lived a very talented and great poet named Bhairavi. Although there was no other contemporary literature that could challenge him and defeat him, Bhairavi always felt defeated in life. And the reason was poverty. His talents and skills had brought him fame but not enough money to even feed his family.
Dakshinavarti Shankh |
One day he became so desperate and disheartened that he decided to finally put end to his life. Mounting debt had turned his life into a virtual nightmare and he thought it was better to die once than to die each day, for the insults hurled at him by the money lenders were worse than death. Having made up his mind He reached the bank of river Shipra that was in spate. He was just about to dive in when Yogi Shatanand happened to pass that way. Through His Yogic powers the Sadhu instantly knew the disturbed state of mind of the poet and he accosted him.
“What are you about to do my son?” he asked.
“O great one!” said Bhairavi,”Poverty is the worst curse. I can no longer bear the abuses hurled at me by the money lenders and to see the sad, hungry, faces of my children. It is better to die than to live thus.”
“My son!” said the yogi.”It is because of bad Karmas of past lives that you suffer thus. Till these Karmas are worked off you won’t have any solace even though you die.”
“O kind one! Is there no way out?”
The pain reflected in the voice of the poet seemed to move the heart of the Yogi and he said, “Fine! Come with me.”
The ascetic led Bhairavi to an old deserted temple and there he made him perform a very special Sadhana which not just wiped off his past bad Karmas but also made Bhairavi rich and prosperous. And without doubt in just four months Bhairavi’s luck changed and he became as rich as he was famous. In a year he was more prosperous than the king of Avanti, so much so that once even king Bhoja to seek a loan from him in his time of need.
This very amazing Sadhana is being presented here for the good of the Sadhaks. For this powerful ritual one needs a special conch-shell. If one holds a conch shell with the pointed end towards oneself then one sees a slit along its length on the left side. But there are rare shells that have slits on the right side. These are called Dakshinavarti Shankhs and if Sadhanas are performed on such shells that have also been energized with special Mantras then one could ward off poverty from one’s life forever.
Start the Sadhana on any full moon night. After 10 pm have a bath. Wear white clothes. Sit facing the South on a white mat. Cover a wooden seat with white cloth. In a copper plate place the Dakshinavarti Shankh and bathe it with milk and then pure water. In a separate plate then place the Shankh over rose flowers. With paste of vermillion write Shreem on the Shankh. Then offer vermillion, rice grains and a sweet made from milk on the Shankh chanting thus.
Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Shreedhar Karasthaay-payonidhi Jaataay Shree Dakhinaavart Shankhaay Hreem Shreem Kleem Shreekaraay Poojyaay Namah
Light a Ghee lamp. Offer prayers to the Guru and chant one round of Guru Mantra. Then with white Hakeek rosary chant eleven rounds of this Mantra.
Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Bloom Dakshin Mukhaay Shankhaanidhaye Saroodraprabhaavay Shankhaay Namah
Do this daily for five days. After Sadhana drop the rosary in a river or pond. Tie the Shankh in a white cloth and place it in the place you keep your cash or valuables at home. This is a very rare Sadhana that if tried with full faith and devotion can do wonders for you.
do you have to do everything from beginning for five days or just the mantra for five days. as I understand you only perform upper part on full moon day that you take sankalpa and do puja until you write shreem on shankha. please advise
